It is with a feeling of immense joy that I bring you news of Agbow\u00f3\u2019s acquisition of the \u00ccb\u00e0d\u00e0n-based art events initiative, ArtsNChill. This is part of a string of moves Agbow\u00f3 is making to provide the ultimate art experience, be it in the stories and poetry that the e-zine provides or the book readings and art events that our new arm will now furnish. The acquisition will see members of ArtsNChill \u00a0join the Agbow\u00f3 team as the Events Department.\u00a0Ezim Osai<\/b>\u00a0has been appointed as the director of this new department.<\/p>\n
Over the last three years, ArtsNChill has continued to bolster its reputation as the leading Literary event\/community in the University of Ibadan, organizing themed fortnightly meets to read poetry, read short stories and exhibit art whilst being treated to hearty jugs of palm-wine.<\/p>\n
This acquisition does not signal the end of this tradition. The meets will continue under the name; \u201cArtsNChill by Agbow\u00f3\u201d. The social media accounts of ArtsNChill also remain the same and will remain functional. The scope of operation of our new arm will, however, broaden to include a more diverse range of literary events and geographical spaces beyond the University of Ibadan.<\/p>\n
