Agbowó is pleased to share that we are introducing two new prizes for poetry and nonfiction.
The first is the Alinea Prize for Nonfiction which is administered by the Alinea Project in collaboration with Agbowó. This year’s Prize opened for submission on May 6, 2023 and will close by June 5th, 2023. The winner will receive $200, and the top 5 entries will have their work published on Agbowo.org.
The Editor’s Prize for Poetry is a $100 prize for what editors judge as the best work of poetry published on Agbowó in a calendar year (January – December). All works entered for publication are considered eligible for the prize. The prize will be award at the end of the year.
